Some answers to the most asked questions:
What surfaces can you erect a marquee on?
Our marquees are designed to be erected on grass and they are held in place with metal stakes. We can erect our frame marquees on hard standing where suitable anchor points are available.
Will there be any damage to the garden?
We are very careful during erection and dismantling especially around your plants and borders. There will be some discolouration of your grass but it will recover within a couple of weeks.
When do you erect the marquee?
We generally erect the marquee 1-3 days in advance of your event and dismantle it 1-2 days afterwards. We will confirm the date 7 days before the event.
Do you do linings?
We offer linings for our frame and clearspan marquees but not the pagodas.
What flooring do you offer?
We use corn coloured DandyDura matting if you order flooring with your marquee. It is more environmentally friendly than carpet as it can be jet washed cleaned and used again whereas carpet tends to be one use only. If you especially want a carpet and/or boarded floor then we can do this for you. Just ask.
How do you light your marquees?
For general lighting we use dimmer controlled chandeliers for the frame tents and uplights that attach to the pagoda's roof pole. Alternatively, for more atmospheric lighting, why not add our LED uplights which can be programmed to almost any colour you want; better still when the dancing begins they can join in the party and react to the music.
What about tables and chairs?
We can supply all the tables and chairs that you need. We have a selection of our own that have proved popular but if you have a particular preference we can probably get it for you.
